2: an Ind[ente]d Deed of M[or]tGage bearing date the 29 day of June 1809 and made between
3: Mathew Meredith of Clonaslee in the Queens Co[unty] Esq[ui]r[e] of the one part and Rice Meredith
4: of Rerymore in s[ai]d Co[unty] Esq[ui]r[e] of the other part Rec[i]t[in]g that by Ind[entu]re made the 1st day of
5: August 1786 Edw[ar]d Dunne of Brittas in the Queens Co[unty] Esq[ui]r[e] dec[ease]d and Mathew Meredith
6: of Rereymore in said Co[unty] Esq[ui]r[e] since dec[ease]d all that and those the Town and Lands of Carragh=
7: =nadiege Broccabeg and that part of the Lands of Ballinakill called Killart all which s[ai]d
8: Lands were then in the poss[essio]n of the s[ai]d Mathew Meredith the whole Cont[ainin]g by a survey then
9: lately made thereof 99 acres 3 roods & 12 perches [being?] the same more or less with liberty of
10: cutting making and drawing Turf from the free[?] Bog of Brocca sit[uate] lying & being in the Barony
11: of Tinnehinch and Queens Co[unty] af[oresai]d except as in said Lease is excepted To Hold to s[ai]d M[athe]w
12: Meredith his Heirs Ex[ecut]ors Adm[inistrat]ors and Ass[ign]s from the first day of May then last for the lives of J[osep]h?
13: Meredith and Mathew Meredith first and 2nd sons of said Mathew and James Calcutt son
14: of Joseph Calcut of Forest in the Queens Co[unty] Esq[ui]r[e] and the sur[vivo]r of them and after the day next
15: after the day of the death of the longest liver of them then to hold to s[ai]d Mathew Meredith [his?]
16: Ex[ecut]ors Adm[inistrat]ors and Ass[ign]s for 31 years sub[jec]t to the Rent of £37:7 and after [Reciting?] that the Estate of s[ai]d
17: Mathew Meredith in said prem[ise]s was then vested in said Mathew Meredith party
18: thereto the s[ai]d Ind[entu]re witnessed that the said Mathew Meredith in Cons[iderat]ion of £200 to him
19: p[ai]d by said Rice Meredith released and confirmed unto the said Rice Meredith in his
20: actual poss[essio]n then being by virtue of a Lease for a year therein ment[ione]d and to his Heirs Ex[ecut]ors
21: Adm[inistrat]ors and Ass[ign]s from the first day of May then last for the before ment[ione]d lives and after
22: the Death of the longest liver of them for the residue of said Term of 31 y[ea]rs to be Count[e]d
23: from the first day of May 1786 Sub[jec]t nevertheless to pay[men]t of the Rent and performance
24: of the Cov[enan]ts in said Lease Contd[?] on the Ten[an]t or Lessees part [xxxx?] paid done and
25: performed and sub[jec]t also to Red[emptio]n on pay[men]t of said sum of £200 and In[teres]t on a day
26: therein ment[ione]d and which said [xxx?] and this Mem[oria]l thereof are resp[ective]ly witnessed by Mathew
27: Meredith seal signed and sealed in presence of Rich[ar]d Highland Ch[arle]s Metcalf The above
28: named Rich[ar]d Highland maketh oath and sayth that he saw the Deed of which the above
29: writing is a Mem[oria]l duly signed sealed and executed by the above named Mathew Meredith
30: & Rice Meredith and that he also saw the said Mathew Meredith duly sign and
31: seal the said Mem[oria]l and sayth that he is a sub[scribin]g wit[nes]s to the said Deed & Mem[oria]l
32: and that the name Rich[ar]d Hyland thereto resp[ective]ly sub[scribe]d as a wit[nes]s is this ep[onent]s proper
33: Name and Handwriting Rich[ar]d Hyland sworn before me this 29 June 1809 at
