Rev. John Jervis-White-Jervis was born on 16 Sep 1819.2 He and Mary Alsager were married on 16 Apr 1845 in St. George's, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 23 Nov 1863, at age 44, in Nice, FranceG.2
Rev. John Jervis-White-Jervis was the eldest son. He served as Protestant chaplain of the Church of England in
India from 1845 for thirteen years, in the Bombay Presidency. He was received into the Church of Rome in 1859. The ceremony took place in the fort chapel, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and was performed by the Righ Rev. Bishop Canoz, assisted by the Vicar-General and Chaplain of the fort.1
