Meredith ap David died in Apr 1619. He was buried on 26 Apr 1619 in Manafon, Montgomeryshire.3
He was described in the "Collections historical & archaeological relating to Montgomeryshire v.6" as follows:
Meredith (ap David ap Evan) of Dwyryw, in the parish of Manavon, was twelfth in descent from Cynvelyn ap Dolphyn, who appears as fourth lay witness to Owen Cyfeiliog's charter, founding the Abbey of Strata Marcella in 1170. His mother was Margaret, daughter of William Herbert of Park, sheriff in 1569. His son John Meredith married Eleanor, daughter of Griffith Kyffyn of Cae Coch, by whom he had David, and Catherine married to Rowland Meredith of Groft. Lewys Dwnn, vol. i, p. 285.

He was mentioned in a Will (The Montgomeryshire collections v.24) as follows:
Testator, in the same deed (6th April, 1 Charles I), conveyed one messuage in the township of Dwyriw, Manafon, called Bron y fl'ynnon, now in the tenure of Humfrey Woodinge, my grandchild, purchased by me from Meredith David ap Evan, ...

His will of 16 Mar 1618 was proved in May 1619. . It requests his brother Edward to be tutor and guardian of John ap Meredith his only son, and mentions his daughters Jonet and Mary.4,5,6
