Biography
Catherine Edwards and Watkin Kyffin, of Glascoed, were married on 29 Sep 1633.1 She died in 1666.1 She was buried on 19 Oct 1666 in Llansilin.1
An article in the Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society (1884) has an account of the family of Edwardes [sic].
Catherine's marriage is mentioned on p. 28 in a letter dated 1668 "Thomas Edwards m. the daughter of Watkin Kyffin of Glascoed [Llansilin] by Katherine d-o John Edwards of Stansty". Further entries:
- "Margaret Edwards sister of Catherine was wife of John Jones ab Thomas ab John ab Iuean, a descendant of the House of Nannau, better known as Col. John Jones the Regicide" p. 29
- "Ann Kiffyn (1645-1719 Apr 26) was the d-o Watkin Glascoed" p. 27.2
