Kildare.3 She died on 28 Mar 1939, at age ~83, in 52 Duke Street, Athy, Co. KildareG.4
Elizabeth Phillips was the daughter of William Henry Phillips, a merchant, and his wife Rosetta from Holywood, Co. Down. She was living at Ballinamoney, Castledermot at the time of her second marriage in 1908.3,5

Robert DRIMMIE

Biography

Robert DRIMMIE was born on 16 Jul 1856 in Co. Kildare.1,2 He and Elizabeth PHILLIPS were married on 8 Jun 1882 in St. Thomas’s Church, Dublin.3 He died on 16 Jul 1905, at age 49, in Killeen, Birr.1
Robert Drimmie was the son of John Drimmie and Elizabeth Jamie, who emigrated from Laurencekirk, Scotland, to Ireland sometime between 1850 and 1860. He was enumerated in the 1901 census as the head of household at Killeen, Riverstown, and described as Robert Drimmie, aged 44, a Farm Steward, born in Co. Kildare. Enumerated in the same household were his wife Elizabeth (aged 44), sons Robert (18), Henry (14) and Martin (10), and daughters Eleanor (16) and Millicent (7).4,2

Biography

Sarah Eliza BAYNE was born ca. 1873 in West IndiesG. She and Alexander BOND were married on 6 Jun 1899 in St. Peter's Church, Dublin.1 She died on 22 Aug 1931, at age ~58, in Mountmellick, Co. Laois, Ireland.
She was the daughter of Henry Bayne, a Planter. She was recorded in the 1911 Ireland census at Henry Street with her husband Alexander. She was described as aged 38, born in the West Indies, married for 12 years and having 1 child. She was living at Drogheda square, Mountmellick and 36 Henry Street, Mountmellick at the time of the births of her children in 1902 and 1911 respectively. She died from tetanus consequent on severe burns received in an accident.1
