Elizabeth Jane BOND was born on 5 Dec 1886. She and
Harold John STEWART were married on 26 Mar 1921 in Kempswey Presbyterian Church. She died on 17 Jul 1985, at age 98, in Mosman, New South Wales, Australia.
Her marriage was reported in the Macleay Argus edition of 1 Apr 1921 as follows:
“STEWART— BOND.
A wedding, in which great interest centred, took place at the Kempsey Presbyterian Church, on Easter Saturday, March 26th, at 10 a.m., when Mr. Harold John Stewart, solicitor, of Kempsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Stewart, of Tareo, was married to Miss Jean Bond, daughter of Mrs. Geo. Bond, of Kempsey. The Rev. David Smith, M.A., performed the ceremony and the Church was prettily decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. The bridesmaid was Miss Elsie Bond, sister of the bride, and the best man was Mr. Lionel Stewart, brother of the bride groom. The bride was given away by her uncle Mr. Armstrong Bond. The bride was dressed in a cream gabardine coat and skirt, and cream silk velvet hat, with braided net veil. She carried a bouquet of pink cactus dahlias. The bridesmaid wore pale grev georgette, with touches of pink and a black velvet hat, and carried a bouquet of pink cactus dahlias. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold wristlet watch, and to the bridesmaid a gold bangle. "The Voice that breathed o'er Eden" was sung as the wedding party entered the Church, and Mrs. C. A. Lane presided at the organ. During the signing of the register, Miss Grace Smith sang "Beloved it is Morn." The guests were entertained after the ceremony at the residence of Mrs. Bond, East Kempsey. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Stewart left by car for a tour of the North Coast and Tablelands. The bride's travelling costume was a navy coat and skirt, and black velour hat. They were the recipients of a handsome lot of presents, including numerous cheques. Their future residence will be at "Killawarra," East Kempsey.”.

Her wedding was reported in the Cootamundra Herald on Tuesday 17 Feb 1914 (p.2 ) as follows:
“WEDDING BELLS. MARTIN— BOND.
Bright sunshine heralded the wedding day of Mr. G. R. Martin, son of Mr. Inspector Martin of the Cootamundra railway staff, and Miss Lena Bond on 1st January, 1914 at Kempsey. The Presbyterian Church was beautifully decorated for the occasion by the bride's friends. Before the appointed hour the church was filled with guests, and the bridegroom and groomsman, Messrs. H. Savage, T. Henderson, and R. Bond awaited the coming of the bride.
Precisely at 2 p.m. the petite bride, in an exquisitely trimmed gown of white Cassels silk trimmed with Honiton lace, and wearing the usual veil and wreath of orange blossoms, entered the church with her father, who gave her away, and was followed by the bridesmaids, the Misses J. and Elsie Bond and Miss Martin in simple dresses of apricot crepe-de-chine with block aeroplane hats and velvet streamers, and they carried bouquets of crimson roses. Prior to the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. C. H. Hain, the choir sang "The Voice that Breathed o'er Eden," and whilst the register was being signed Miss Z. Dangar sang "O, Perfect Love." The procession then left the vestry, the bride and bridegroom leading the way, little Elaine Bond and Maisie Debus strewing their path with rose leaves, while Professor Wall played the Wedding March. Mr and Mrs. G. Bond, together with Mr. and Mrs Martin, received the congratulations of their friends at the Good Templars' Hall, where 70 guests were entertained at breakfast.”.

Her wedding was reported in the Macleay Argus on Tue 14 Jul 1925 (p. 1) - a slightly edited version follows:
“WEDDING. HUTCHISON— BOND.
One of the prettiest weddings which have ever been celebrated in Kempsey took place in the Presbyterian Church on Saturday, 4th July, when the Rev. David Smith, M.A., united in the holy bonds of matrimony Lina, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong Bond, of Kempsey, and Mr. John Hutchison, of Nauru Island, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Hutchison, of Peak Hill, Orange, and Forbes.
The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a dress of satin de chene, trimmed with ostrich feather and a pearl and crystal cabachon suspended from a low waist line in front, with a train of satin de chene, lined with pale blue georgette with rosebud and silver trimming, and a wreath and veil lent by her sister-in-law (Mrs. Jack Bond). The bride carried a bouquet of sweet peas and hyacinths. The attending maids were Miss Ida Ainsworth, attired in a blue dressy and Miss Jessie Hutchison, in a pink dress of baronet satin and georgette, trimmed with ostrich feathers and silver, wearing silver shoes and a coronet of silver with tulle veil to match. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of pink carnations attached to wands. All the bouquets were the gift of the bridegroom.
Mr. W. Hutchison acted as best man and Mr. H. Savage as groomsman. Whilst the bridal party were in the vestry Miss G. Smith, accompanied by the bride's cousin (Mrs, H. Stewart), sang "Love's Coronation.” The wedding breakfast was served in the adjoining hall, where the bride's mother, gowned in black marocain, trimmed with beads and fringe, and carrying a bouquet of red roses, received the numerous guests. The Rev. David Smith, M.A., officiated as chairman. The customary toasts were honored with enthusiasm. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a set of silver-backed military brushes in case. The presents of the bridegroom to the bride were a cut-glass rose bowl and cut-glass float bowl, and to the bridesmaids a n-brown stole and a gold wristlet watch. The happy couple left by train for Sydney and Jenolan Caves, The bride was attired in a travelling dress of cinnamon marocain, with n-brown marocain cape, lined with blue brocaded marocain, and hat to match. The future home will he Nauru Island, Central Pacific.”.
