He was enumerated with his wife Marie Crawford (aged 32, born 17 May 1868), his sister Ruby Crawford (born 23 Oct 1880) and a lodger Hugh Freeman. He had emigrated to Canada with his wife in 1893. They are enumerated in the 1911 and 1916 censuses of Canada, still at Winnipeg, by which time he is described as a manager of a Warehouse, with one servant. Their nephew Claude Peirce is enumerated with them also. Francis Crawford was living at Lindsay street, Winnipeg at the time of his death in 1946.^3,5
