Born and raised in Lethbridge, Meredith served overseas wilth the 112th battery of the 6th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment during the Second World War, and was mentioned in dispatches after being wounded in 1945 in Germany. Meredith is survived by his wife Dorothy, two daughters and three grandchildren."
